Sometimes a few chilly days during the beginning of fall can be enough to get us to forget about the bad problems we have been experiencing. That is–until a heatwave returns and all of a sudden things are a lot worse than they were.

If you know there is a problem with your AC, or at least you firmly believe there is one, then calling for repairs is always better earlier than later. And, repairs are just easier to schedule when temperatures are mild, like during fall or spring.
What Can Go Wrong With AC Neglect?
So, what happens if you leave your AC alone during the future season while you are not using it? It will be in good shape to get repaired next season, right?

- Sudden heat waves in the spring. Sometimes heat strikes in the spring when we least expect it. Our schedules will fill up quickly and you might not have the wiggle room you do now.
- Budgetary reasons. Who knows what sudden expensive bills will show up in the next 6 months! It might be a good idea to invest in repairs now while you have got the disposable income.
Remember to try and consider the long-term health and comfort of your home. Dealing with things now, especially things that cost money, will make things more affordable for you in the future.
